Rough Cut + Focus Group
Rough Cut
As a group we are really happy with our final rough cut. throughout the process of making it we felt that we wanted to show a clear change between the performance and narrative element. We did this by making the footage Black and White - similar to The Beatles "A Hard Day's Night". Overall we feel that it fits well within the indie/alternative genre.

Naomi and I made a quick focus group,consisting of 8 people. We played them our rough cut and asked them some questions in order to get feedback on our piece to help us improve. Naomi filmed the video and I asked the group the questions.
- Do you think the video successfully fits the lyrics and the indie/alternative genre?
- Is there any suggestions you have for improvement?
- Do you think that having the performance in colour and narrative in black and white fits?
-Does the narrative fit with the conventions of the genre?
