Why Is Everyone Wearing Tiny Beanies?

You've all seen it and you know what I'm talking about! I spent some time in London and Norfolk over Christmas and all I saw were people wearing these miniature beanies! Its like half a hat, but everyone and I literally mean EVERYONE I saw was rocking one. But I just have so many questions about them...Whats so great about them? Are you trying to hide a bald patch? Are your ears not cold?... The list could go on!

When I first saw them appearing the reminded me of those little fisherman hats that they all wore in the birdseye adverts so I didn't think they were very fashionable. I feel like they have a very large "skate culture" fan base, but after seeing them paired with some long tailored coats, puffer jackers, those iconic round glasses and converse or Doc Martins, I can admit, they have grown on me (although I'd never wear one myself).

Who knows maybe in 40 years time when our kids are this age they might bring back the tiny beanie again and it'll be all the rage once again.
