Why I Felt Poor Af in Burberry

So during my visit to London, we hit Covent Garden to check out some of the stores. My best friend Issah studies Digital journalism at UAL and was doing a project based on high end stores in London so we took a trip in Burberry!

If I’m completely honest the most high end shop id even been in is John Lewis (if you’d count that as high end) I know it’s a shock considering I’m a fashion student but I never felt I was able to go in shops like that because I know for a fact I wouldn’t be able to afford anything in there!!

I’ll give the staff their due, there were two lovely employees that made us feel completely welcome when it came to looking around the shop and check up on us in case we’d decided to buy something (we didn’t 😂) but I couldn’t help but feel super uncomfortable and very very poor whilst I was in there!

I know by all means poor is probably the wrong word but I just felt very out of place. It’s a feeling I’ll having to combat because I definitely want to see what it’s like in other high end stores! But for now I’ll stick with checking out some window displays!!
