McFly is Forever

So for those of you who know me, you will know that I’m still obsessed with McFly, yes they are the band that everyone was obsessed with back in 2008 but for some reason I’ve just never stopped loving them.

I remember my mum taking me to their first concert at Thetford Forest and it absolutely poured down but I smiled the whole time still because I was just so excited to see them!!

After that show, I basically forced my mum to take me to every show they had close to us in the UK again (sorry mum) I was 11 concerts when they announced their hiatus as they felt like it was best to have a break for a while and focus on making their families.

Now 10 years later, you heard me right, 10 YEARS! McFly are officially back and performing at the O2 in London. After a long and delayed train to London, I met my mum in Greenwich and we headed in to the show.

I couldn’t tell you how amazing it was, everyone there were of similar ages to me and I spent forever chatting to this woman in the queue who had flown all the way from Switzerland just to see them again!!

After many tears and songs being belted at the top of my lungs the show was over! But thankfully it won’t be the last again! With a new album on the way and their new tour starting soon, McFly are officially back in business!
